Getting Started

What ages and grades do you work with?

I work with students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade.

The best way to find out is through a quick conversation and a free 30-minute introductory session. This gives me an opportunity to understand your child’s needs and gives you and your child a chance to see how I work before committing.

Yes! New families are welcome to schedule a free 30-minute introductory session before enrolling.

I begin with a conversation about your child’s needs. When possible, I also use the introductory session to get a better understanding of their current level, learning style, and areas where they may need additional support.

Reach out to schedule a brief meeting. We’ll discuss your child’s needs together and complete the enrollment paperwork in person.

Sessions & Scheduling

When are tutoring sessions available?

Sessions are offered Monday through Friday with the following time slots:

4:00–5:00 PM
5:15–6:15 PM
6:30–7:30 PM

Each session is one hour. Depending on your child’s needs and availability, tutoring can be scheduled between one and five times per week.

Parents and students are encouraged to bring relevant school materials, homework, assignments, and class syllabi. This helps me tailor each session around what your child is currently learning at school.

If your child is feeling unwell, please reschedule their session rather than having them attend. Reach out as soon as possible and we’ll arrange another time.

Tutoring & Learning

What subjects do you tutor?

I offer tutoring in ELA, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, homework support and management, penmanship, and kindergarten readiness.

Yes. Every child’s needs are different, so sessions are tailored around what your child is currently working through. Whether they’re struggling with reading, mathematics, writing, basic concepts, or preparing for kindergarten, I’ll build a plan around their specific needs.

My approach is rooted in patience, structure, and the belief that every child learns differently. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I create personalized support around your child’s strengths, pace, current schoolwork, and individual needs.

I’ll provide regular updates on your child’s progress. Parents are also welcome to reach out with questions or request a check-in along the way.

I have over 10 years of experience working with young learners, with a background in Preschool and Montessori teaching as well as tutoring.

Yes. I am currently CPR and First Aid certified

Payments & Policies

What is your hourly rate?

Please contact me for current tutoring rates.

Payment can be made by cash, check, or Zelle.

Payment is due at the beginning of each semester. Families may also choose to pay monthly, with payment due at the beginning of each month.

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling a session.

Sessions cancelled with the required notice can be rescheduled, subject to availability. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows are charged the full session fee.

If I need to cancel because of illness, an emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, I’ll contact you as early as possible. The session will be rescheduled within 7 days at no additional cost and will not count toward your family’s cancellation policy.

If tutoring services are discontinued, any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded on a prorated basis in accordance with the refund policy.
