Getting Started
What ages and grades do you work with?
I work with students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade.
How do I know if tutoring is a good fit for my child?
The best way to find out is through a consultation. This gives me an opportunity to understand your child’s needs and gives you and your child a chance to see how I work before committing.
How do you assess where my child is starting from?
During our consultation, we begin with a conversation about your child’s needs, where I get a better understanding of their current level, learning style, and areas where they may need additional support.
How do I enroll?
Reach out using the above form to schedule a consultation. We’ll discuss your child’s needs together and complete the enrollment paperwork in person.
Sessions & Scheduling
When are tutoring sessions available?
Sessions are offered Monday through Friday with the following time slots:
4:00–5:00 PM
5:15–6:15 PM
6:30–7:30 PM
How long is each tutoring session?
Each session is one hour. Depending on your child’s needs and availability, tutoring can be scheduled between one and five times per week.
What should my child bring to tutoring?
Parents and students are encouraged to bring relevant school materials, homework, assignments, and class syllabi. This helps me tailor each session around what your child is currently learning at school.
What if my child is sick?
If your child is feeling unwell, please reschedule their session rather than having them attend. Reach out and we’ll rearrange that session.
Tutoring & Learning
What subjects do you tutor?
I offer tutoring in ELA, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Homework Support and Management, Penmanship, and Kindergarten Readiness.
Can you help if my child is struggling with a specific subject?
Yes. Every child’s needs are different, so sessions are tailored around what your child is currently working through. Whether they’re struggling with reading, mathematics, writing, basic concepts, or preparing for kindergarten, I’ll build a plan around their specific needs.
What is your teaching style?
My approach is rooted in patience, structure, and the belief that every child learns differently. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I create personalized support around your child’s strengths, pace, current schoolwork, and individual needs.
How will I know if my child is improving?
I’ll provide regular updates on your child’s progress. Parents are also welcome to reach out with questions or request a check-in along the way.
What is your teaching background?
I have over 10 years of experience working with young learners, with a background in Preschool and Montessori teaching as well as tutoring.
Are you CPR and First Aid certified?
Yes. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
Payments & Policies
What is your hourly rate?

What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made by Cash, Check, or Zelle.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the beginning of each semester. Families may also choose to pay monthly, with payment due at the beginning of each month.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling a session.
Sessions cancelled with the required notice can be rescheduled, subject to availability. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows are charged the full session fee.
What happens if the tutor needs to cancel?
If I need to cancel because of illness, an emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, I’ll contact you as early as possible. The session will be rescheduled within 7 days at no additional cost and will not count toward your family’s cancellation policy.
What happens to prepaid fees if tutoring is discontinued?
If tutoring services are discontinued, any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded on a prorated basis in accordance with our policies.
